We are raising funds to help Elana and her family experience a healing Hawaii getaway — covering the trip, airfare, and more. She and her family deserve it. On the Fourth of July in 2024, Elana’s life changed forever. At just 33 years old, she discovered a lump that led to a diagnosis of triple-positive breast cancer that had already spread to her lymph nodes. Over the following months, Elana endured chemotherapy, a bilateral mastectomy, radiation, infusions, a hysterectomy, and multiple surgeries—all while raising three children, teaching full-time, and facing the physical and emotional challenges of cancer treatment. What kept her going was the desire to be present for her children’s birthdays, graduations, weddings, and every ordinary moment in between. Supported by her husband Zach, her family, friends, and an incredible community, Elana found strength even on the hardest days. Today, Elana is grateful to be a survivor. While ongoing medications and follow-up appointments remain part of her journey, she chooses to focus on gratitude, hope, and making memories with the people she loves most. Her story is a powerful reminder of resilience, faith, and the precious gift of each day.
